Farmina N&D Ancestral Grain Ocean Cod & Orange Med/Maxi is a complete, grain-inclusive dry dog food for medium to large breed adult dogs, centred on ocean fish as the primary protein. Herring and dehydrated herring are the primary protein sources, contributing naturally occurring omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) as components of the whole-fish ingredient. The grain blend uses whole spelt and whole oats.

Prebiotic fibre ingredients include inulin, FOS, and psyllium husk. Glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin sulfate are present in the formulation. Taurine and L-carnitine are included as named amino acid ingredients. Flavour and plant compound contributors include dried sweet orange, dried pomegranate, and natural fruit and vegetable ingredients. Antioxidant preservation is provided by green tea extract, rosemary, and mixed tocopherols. Chelated minerals (zinc, manganese, copper) are included in the mineral profile.
